PEOPLE AND GROWING

Support Dundee

The Goldilocks analogy definitely fits Dundee juuust right! It’s a cheeky chappy of a city with lots of surprises to keep you smiling (SPOILER: mosaic waiters will greet you outside Agacan, a fierce dragon rules the high street and penguins waddle around a triple whammy mega church, which faces Mecca)…

When the sun is shining and the water’s sparkling, life feels pretty darn Dandy here, sprawled out on Magdalene Green or Baxter Park with some good tunes and funny people.

The future is a very exciting place for Dundee!

Q) What surprises you about the city?

A) I have studied twice in Dundee and lived there for three years. It's a friendly welcoming place, full of real people. The fun is in discovering all the things that make Dundee unique whether it is historical, cultural, the scenery or the weather!
Q) What surprises you about the city?

A) Although it is an established cultural asset, as a foreigner to Dundee I was surprised to find such an amazing cultural institution such as the DCA! But Dundee has many surprises in store, be it the whimisical statues on High Street or the art that surrounds you on campus buildings on a daily basis. Dundee is full of culture but never does it loose its rooting with its people and pretend it is something it isn't. That degree of down-to-earth-ness is surprising for a cultural city!

:)
